 reports, 1d 14h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Paint the Truth.
Use tripod with timer and no flash. Try to photograph @ midmorning with only north light. Angle your art as close to vertical as you can. Position your camera higher than your artwork so it is aiming slightly down to reduce glare, then fix the distorted angle later in photoshop with 'free transform'. Look from your cameras position and adjust the tilt and position of art until there is no glare (look in the dark areas of your painting). In photoshop I square up the art and then adjust contrast and color balance until it looks like the original.
